Meet Suga: the AI nutritionist that builds your FSSAI label in a chat
Making a nutrition label used to mean filling long forms or waiting on a lab. Suga changes that. She is the label assistant inside NutriLabel AI, built to think like a nutritionist and a food scientist. You talk to her like you would talk to a consultant, and she prepares an FSSAI-format nutrition information panel for your product.
What Suga can do
- Speaks your language. Her first question is which language your label should be in. Labels can be created in 13 languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia, Urdu, Arabic and English. You can chat in English and still get a Tamil label.
- Two ways to start. Create with AI from your recipe, or upload a NABL lab report (PDF or photo).
- Reads lab reports. Suga reads the uploaded report right away, gives you a short summary of the values she found, and asks you to confirm before using them.
- Understands real kitchen recipes. Type the way you cook — "2 cups rava, 1 tbsp ghee, pinch of salt" — and she understands common measures and local ingredient names.
- Asks smart follow-up questions. Is the product fried, roasted, sun-dried or raw? What is the pack size and serving size? She only asks what is needed and does not repeat herself.
- Confirms before creating. You see a summary of everything first. The label is created only when you press confirm.
- Food-science aware. Recipe values are calculated from ICMR-NIN IFCT 2017 and USDA FoodData Central, accounting for moisture loss, oil absorbed in frying and salt-to-sodium conversion.
- FSSAI checks built in. Mandatory nutrients, allergen warnings, veg/non-veg marks and front-of-pack traffic lights are added to the panel.
How it works

Who is Suga for?
Home-food brands, bakers, pickle, chutney and masala makers, sweet shops, cloud kitchens and small manufacturers who need an FSSAI nutrition label quickly and affordably. Your first recipe label is free to try.
What Suga is not
Recipe-based values are careful calculations, not a lab test. Where a lab report is legally required, upload it and Suga will transcribe it faithfully. Read the methodology and the FSSAI labelling guide to learn more, or find a lab in our NABL lab directory.
