Terms of Service

1. What the service is

NutriLabel generates nutrition labels in FSSAI format from a recipe or from a NABL laboratory report. It is a software tool. It is not a laboratory, a certification body, a regulator, or a provider of legal advice.

2. Accuracy and responsibility

Recipe-based labels are calculations from published composition data combined with published yield and moisture models — see our methodology. Lab-report labels transcribe the values in the report you supply. As the food business operator you remain responsible for verifying that what is printed on your pack is correct and compliant before it goes to market. We recommend a NABL-accredited analysis for any regulatory filing.

3. Accounts

Sign-in is via Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. One account per person or business; do not share credentials.

4. Credits, payment and refunds

  • Your first label is free. Further labels consume credits.
  • Credits are bought as one-time packs in Indian rupees through Razorpay. They are not subscriptions and do not auto-renew.
  • Credits do not expire and are not transferable between accounts.
  • A credit is not consumed when we block a label — for example when required nutrients are missing or too much of the recipe could not be identified.
  • If a payment succeeds but credits are not delivered, email us and we will fix it or refund the amount.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to produce labels you know to be false, to upload reports you are not entitled to use, to attempt to bypass credit limits, or to scrape or resell our data. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of your recipes, lab reports and generated labels. You grant us only the permission needed to process and store them so we can provide the service.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including recall, reprinting or regulatory costs.
